Your Destiny starts with your Thoughts

Our thoughts are the building blocks of our mindset, which eventually determines our destiny.

"Watch your thoughts, they become words; watch your words, they become actions, watch your actions, they become habits, watch your habits, they become character, watch your character, for it becomes your destiny.” - Frank Outlaw

It is proven that successful people have different thoughts and words on how to manage influential life events, especially when these events are tragedies.

Here is an example of comparing how different mindsets would react to a financial crisis.

One will say I'm having a cash flow problem, and another will complain and say I'm broke. The person who decided to look at the event as a cash flow problem, has the potential to look for solutions. While the other person already made a decision that he is Broke!

It really starts with thoughts.

Looking at the words used (Cash Flow Problem VS Broke) whom do you think will develop an action plan to get out of the financial crisis?

Always look at the half glass full.

An action can be as simple as just planning, which is writing down solutions to the problem and choosing between alternatives, and making a decision with discipline to solve the problem.

Action speaks louder than words!

The individual with a decided action plan will develop the habit to get out of the financial crisis, and will always be prepared to mitigate these tragedies in the future. While the person with no action plan, already made a decision to live miserable.

Become a creator of habit and not a creature of habit.

Getting out of a crisis develops the character, because we learn through experiences and a potential crisis will not shake someone as it did the first time. it is being looked at as a character building opportunity.

What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger!

Destiny starts with our thoughts, as some thoughts turned someone into a character who can manage finances and become successful financially, and some thoughts turned someone into a poor character who complains about being broke!

You are what you think!
